Spaghetti?

I was checking my e-mail the other day and Whitney got a little too quiet. She loves pulling things out of one cabinet in particular. She had a hayday with all of the spaghetti noodles. She has also gotten the rice and a few boxes of cereal. We really should lock that cabinet.

Chipmunks can't swim.

When Whitney and I came home from running errands today, I let her go play in the yard while I brought in the groceries. I knew she would want to go swimming in the pool and that was the first place she stopped. With my hands full of groceries I stopped because I noticed something in the pool. It took a couple of seconds to realize it was a chipmunk dead in the bottom of the pool. I told her NO! and practically threw the groceries in the house, ran back out and scooped her up and ran back in the house. I had the heebie-jeebies and was totally freaking out. This is pretty much how I get over any small rodents. I called Mike and told him we had a dead chipmunk in the pool and it was going to be there until he got home. My mom had just told me earlier during the day about a bacteria they have found in public swimming pools that is resistant to chlorine so I called her and asked if they said anything about chipmunks...When Mike got home he got the poor thing out and drained the pool. So for future reference, chipmunks can't swim.:)
