Wedding

The girls!
Randa--official Wilson Holder :)

Me and Dad

I had the opportunity to go to Washington last weekend to my friend's wedding. Wilson and I flew out on Thursday night and came home Sunday afternoon. It was a quick trip, but I had a such a great time. On Friday I went and got my nails and toes done while my dad watched Wilson. Then the three of us went to the fair. We ate all the good fair food--krusty pup corn dogs, elephant ears, roasted corn, lemonade and scones! On Saturday Wilson and I went and cruised the mall--I had to go since it was so close :) Then Dad, Wilson and I went to the wedding that evening. I have known Erica since first grade when we started girl scouts and it was fun for all of us girls to be together again. We had so much fun dancing. Thank you Randa for being the official Wilson holder! It was a great weekend!

Bath Time

The kids really love to be in the bath. Wilson is getting to be such a big boy! He loves to sit up in the bath, but he's still a little unsteady and slides around. His most favorite toy is the small rubber duckie--he puts the head in his mouth and chews on it everytime!

Fun with Grandpa

Grandpa was even able to get in some fun while he was here! He sure loves these two!

Firm Foundation

Here are some pictures of Mike, my dad and brother working on our foundation! They were able to get it done! We are just about ready to turn in all of the paperwork for our construction loan! Hooray! We'll have the bones of a house in no time!

We're still alive...

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last posted...actually we've been so busy, it is pretty believeable!
My new business officially started yesterday. I started a Residential Habilitation and Day Habilitation company for adults with disabilities. We only have one special client right now--Mike's younger brother Kirk. We are so excited and feel so blessed to have the opportunity to do this. My mom moved down here a couple of weeks ago and she is the Program Supervisor and the primary caregiver for Kirk right now. Within in the next month or so we will be hiring other employees. We've had to jump through several hoops with the state and we had some very stressful days, but we truly believe that this opportunity is a blessing from the Lord. It is truly amazing to see how it will bless the lives of all of our family members and eventually be able to bless the lives of other families with children with disabilities.

Our Residential Habilitation is in our house, so we moved in with Mike's mom and my mom and Kirk moved into our house. We finally had everything moved on Saturday. Things still aren't completely put away, but we're working on it. It took a while for us to be able to move because work was still being done on Geraldine's house. Her new bedroom was finally finished late Saturday night. We also had some work to do on our Day Habilitation site. That is pretty much finished, just a little bit of rearranging and some more furniture will really fill it up, but it's great for now.

Dad, Kletey, and Kitty (his girlfriend) came out when Mom moved out here, so we put them to work too! Kitty painted the kids' bedroom over at Geraldine's, and it looks great. Dad and Kletey worked on building the foundation for our new house that we're starting to build. Kletey went home midweek, but Dad stayed and he and Mike were able to get the entire foundation built! Once we have our construction loan, we'll be ready to put up a house!

We have had constant projects around here, but all of them are so exciting! I don't see it slowing down anytime soon!
